The Imagination of an Artist

In the western world, the visual art form of painting has been seen as relying to the highest degree on the imagination of the artist. Anna Kutishcheva embodies this particular meaning. Anna is originally from Ukraine, where she
obtained her Engineering and Masters of Art degrees. Her early works were inspired by
all-time idol Marc Chagall. Anna painted for galleries and advertising agencies, but mostly enjoyed creating illustrations for children magazines. She left Ukraine ten
years ago, with her husband and 1-year old daughter. Now she is an Oakville resident, where her family thoroughly enjoys living and establishing Canadian roots.
